How study works

Life chapters, not lonely flashcards

You follow a path of life scenes — the gallery, the table, the family. Each chapter has its own picture and short word groups. You meet each word in a sentence, use it in conversation, then review later so it sticks.

Scenes & sentences Words show up in real exchanges — greetings on the gallery, supper at the table, weather over the bayou.
Spaced review A gentle review spine helps vocabulary stick without gamification pressure.

The language we study

Cajun / Louisiana French

This is not Paris French. It is the French of South Louisiana homes, churches, kitchens, and porches — a living heritage variety with more than one way to spell a word, and that is okay.

Variants welcome

You will see alternate spellings on purpose. Search for either form. Fluent speakers remain the final word on what sounds right.
